Initial Skills - First 2 week Module
1.
Logon to computer entering your username and password from MEMORY.
2.
Create a directory (also called a folder)
under your home directory (H DRIVE) using your first letter of your first
name and your last name. For example, my directory name is called rlamothe
because my name is Robert Lamothe
3.
Create an images directory as a subdirectory of your main directory. For
example, Mr. Lamothe's main directory is called. rlamothe.
I would create the images
directory under that.
4.
Be able to identify the file types of a web file, a graphic file, a MSWord
file, and a MS Power Point File.
5.
Save a web file to your main directory, save a graphic file to your images
directory, save an MSWord file to your MSWord directory, and a Power Point
file to your Power Point directory.
