About This Site 

Directions to the Young Achievers Science and Mathematics Pilot School

The school is located at 25 Walk Hill Street, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. Walk Hill Street runs between Hyde Park Avenue near the Forest Hill’s T station and Blue Hill Avenue. 25 Walk Hill is very close to Hyde Park Avenue and a 7 minute walk from the Forest Hill’s T station.

From the West and North of Boston

Take Storrow Drive to the Fenway Rt. 1 exit. Stay right and follow through several lights and proceed to get onto the Jamaica Way (Rt. 1 South). Take the Jamaica Way all the way south, it will turn into the Riverway then into the Arborway. After you pass Arnold Arboretum on your right, you will take the immediate first exit, Washington Street, just before a bridge. At the bottom of the ramp take a right at the light, follow through two sets of lights, you will pass Forest Hill T Station on your left. At the third light take a left onto Ukraine Street (very short street) At the end take a right onto Hyde Park Avenue and get into the left hand lane. At the first light take a left onto Walk Hill Street. There is a Dunkin Donuts on this corner. The school is on the right.

From the South shore

Take Rt 3 / 93 heading into Boston, Take the Adams Street/Milton/North Quincy Street Exit, merge onto Willard Street and stay straight onto Granite Street. Turn slight right onto Adams Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and then turn slight left onto Morton Street. Turn left onto Norfolk Street. Turn sharp right onto Blue Hill Avenue then a quick slight left onto Walk Hill Street. The school will be 1.5 miles down on your left, a big brick school building. It is a total of about 8.5 miles from when you get off the exit.

From Dorchester/Dudley Street

Take Blue Hill Avenue to Franklin Park. Drive through Franklin Park past White Stadium and the Shattuck Hospital. Take a left at the rotary and this will bring you to Forest Hills. Take a left onto Hyde Park Avenue. Go through three sets of lights to Walk Hill Street. Take a left onto Walk Hill Street and the school is located on the first block

By Bus

From Back Bay/Northeastern Area: Take the #39 Bus. You will get off at the Forest Hills T- Station. Walk up Hyde Park Avenue 2 long blocks to Walk Hill Street (7 minute walk) or take the #32 (Cleary Square) bus and get off at the first stop. Walk up Walk Hill Street

Train/Trolley

Take the orange line to the Forest Hills T- Station. Follow directions above
